SCSI Fun Run 2017

The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland arranged a Fun Run in Herbert Park on Thursday 14th September last in Aid of Focus Ireland. The event was proudly sponsored by McGovern Surveyors as well as Gleeson, McGrath, Baldwin Solicitors and helped raise funds for a very worthy cause.
There were 18 teams participants and 21 participants ran either 3km or 5 km. All entrants received a goodie bag, branded t-shirt, sponsors were McGovern Surveyors.

Summer Networking BBQ

The Members Summer Networking Social took place last Thursday, 20th July, at the Society HQ in 38 Merrion Square. Over 70 members turned up for the event. The BBQ was accompanied by beer and wine which was served to members on the evening.

SCSI Annual Dinner 2017 a roaring success

The Society’s Annual Dinner 2017 took place last Thursday at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road with 1,300 guests in attendance at the sold out event. The largest event of the year for professionals in the industry, the black tie evening offers members an excellent opportunity to network and meet colleagues working in their sector.

David McWilliams to speak on the Brexit effect at North East Region Annual Dinner

The SCSI North East region will hold its inaugural dinner at the Nuremore Hotel in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan next Friday the 27th January.

Over 200 Chartered Surveyors from counties Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Monaghan and Cavan are expected to attend the event. The guest speaker for the dinner is broadcaster and economist David McWilliams who will speak on Brexit in the crossborder context and the prospects for the property market arising from it.
