Another sparkling evening at the Young Surveyors Ball

Last Saturday, 14th October, the Society hosted the Young Surveyors Ball in the Round Room at the Mansion House. A highlight in the social calendar for all young surveyors.

With over 250 of our younger members in attendance, the night was well represented by professionals working across the property, land and construction sectors.

This well known venue set the tone for the evening as guests arrived in their best to the glamorous black tie event. The entertainment on the evening was an upbeat 3-piece jazz band, following an elegant pre-drinks reception.

YSCSI Committee Chairman David Rowe addressed the room, thanking his fellow committee members for their efforts in planning such a successful evening and those in attendance for supporting their many networking events throughout the year.

David also highlighted the fantastic networking opportunity that these events offer each member at this crucial stage of their career, allowing them to make valuable connections that can serve them for years to come.

Following the speech, a DJ provided the late night entertainment, with dancing going on until well into the evening.

A raffle was held on the night in aid of Focus Ireland with over €1,000 raised for the worthy cause.

The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Young Surveyors Committee would like to thank the generous sponsors of this event, Structuretone, to whom the event would not be possible without their support.

Special thanks is also extended by David Rowe, Chair of the Young Member Committee to Young Member Committee who helped out on the evening, in particular the sub – committee whom consist of Ann Louise Hannon, Eoin Grant and Roger Hayes.
