The annual SCSI Members gold outing took place last Thursday, 18th May at The Hermitage Golf Club in Lucan. There were fifteen teams participating in this years competition. The day began with a shotgun start at 1.30pm and concluded with a evening dinner at the clubhouse.
Wyse Property Management took the back 9 whilst O’Dwyer Real Estate took the front 9. Aramark were the overall winners of the competition and took home the cup with a score of 58.2, while CBRE placed 2nd with a score of 58.9. Jones Engineering, followed in 3rd place, and the sponsors of the competition, Electro Automation came in 4th.
The 2017 SCSI Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place in 38 Merrion Square last night, and the Society elected a new president, Colin Bray for the 2017 – 2018 term. Colin is a Chartered Geomatics Surveyor and Chief Executive & Chief Survey Officer of the OSi.
The Charity lunch was held to raise funds for the Capuchin Day Centre which last year delivered 272,000 meals and 108,500 food parcels for people in need.
The Young Surveyors’ AGM was held on Wednesday, 26th April in Merrion Square.
David Rowe of Finnegan Menton Property Consultants was elected chair of the Young Surveyors Committee, taking over from Zara Walsh, JLL for the 2017/ 2018 term.
