The Society are joining St Vincent de Paul on their annual Christmas appeal. Together with your help, we can make Christmas that little bit brighter for families in need at this difficult time of year.
Ronan O’Hara, Chairman of the SCSI’s Residential Professional Group said the move would provide much needed assistance to first time buyers, many of whom are struggling to save for a deposit.
This year’s Dinner, organised by Michael Mooring, Chair of the Southern Region, and the rest of the Committee attracted over 250 members from around the region involved in the land, property and construction sector.
This year the Society looked at the issues facing the future of property. The changes in how we live and work which will shape the demands on residential and commercial property and how global trends and challenges are likely to change how businesses need to look at their services and portfolios.
The speaker for this month was Gillian Horan from The Pudding Brand who spoke on personal branding. Gillian is the Chief Brand Strategist and CEO of The Pudding Brand. She is a certified brand consultant, a lecturer, a trainer and an author. She has over 12 years’ experience in the world of branding and is often referred to as a brand fanatic.
The annual SCSI Young Surveyors Ball took place in the Double Tree by Hilton, Burlington Road on Saturday, October 29th. Organised by the Young Members Committee of the Society, this year’s Ball had 200 members in attendance.
