Society organise a ‘Charity Fun Run’ in aid of Focus Ireland

The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland held their first ever Charity Fun Run in Herbert Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin on Thursday the 8th of September.

The charity was Focus Ireland and the two sponsors which were Mc Govern ‘O Brien Chartered Building Surveyors and Gleeson Mc Grath Baldwin Solicitors. The weather was wet and miserable but an unprecedented number of 60 people turned up to take part.

The Charity Fun run was a 3km or a 5km, the racers choice. There were prizes for first place for the 5km which was Paul Gibbons and Ben Malone Lisney.

The first female participant home was Jill Horan of Savills and the second was Martina Krawczakk of Hooke and Mac Donald. The 3km winners were first place to Darragh Sheehan of Jones Lang Lasalle and second place to John Bradish also of Jones Lang Lasalle and the team prize was won by Bruce Shaw which consisted of Paul Brady, Brian Mc Cay, Declan Furey and John Finnegan. Following the race, participants continued the celebrations at Horse Show House in Ballsbridge with drinks and accompanying finger food.
