26 teams from the property, land and construction sectors competed in the SCSI Members Golf Outing 2016 held on Thursday 19 May in The Hermitage Golf Club, Lucan. What started out as a wet morning, emerged to a beautiful sunny afternoon as the shotgun start was announced at 1.30pm.
The event prize giving followed evening dinner which was well attended, as Patricia Byron, SCSI Director General addressed attendees in advance and thanked all for their participation. APCOA parking were thanked and acknowledged for their continued support of the event.
CBRE, defending their title for the cup – took the back 9 whilst John Sisk took the front 9. Martin Cummins of KMCS won the men’s longest drive, whilst Olivia Kavanagh of Aramark won the lady’s nearest the rope and Rory Murphy of Winters PM won the men’s nearest the rope.
Overall 1st prize for the cup went to the winning team King Auctioneers from Mullingar with a winning score of 56.2. Closely following in 2nd place was Aramark, followed by Winters PM in third and Wyse in 4th.
Our thanks to sponsors APCOA parking without whose support would make our Society events more challenging.
