The BSc (Hons) Property Studies is a part-time 4-year degree course run by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, in partnership with DIT Bolton Street.
Aimed at busy property professionals who wish to gain a recognised qualification – and competitive edge – in today’s challenging and evolving market, this unique course offers a flexible approach to learning.
Students who wish to leave the course after two years’ study will be entitled to receive an exit award at Level 6 – this carries 120 ECTS credits, which is the minimum academic qualification requirement set down by the Property Services Regulatory Authority
An Open Evening for the course was held on the 16th July in the SCSI Offices Merrion Square. We were delighted to have former BSc in Property Studies graduate Joanne Lavelle deliver an insightful presentation to prospective students. Joanne runs an Independent, full service agency in County Louth Sales, areas of business include:
- Property Mediation
- General property counsel
The course has proved instrumental in the development of her business.
Martin Hanratty, Assistant Head of the DITSchool of Real Estate & Construction Economics provided an overview of the extensive facilities and support that DIT has to offer the BSc in Property Studies students. Susan Clancy, Course Manger provided information on the course syllabus and structure.
There has been great interest in the course this year with limited places remaining – we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
