The Society welcomed Geoffrey Kasselman, the Global President of SIOR, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors to the Society’s offices at 38 Merrion Square on Tuesday.
The Charity lunch was held to raise funds for the Capuchin Day Centre which last year delivered 272,000 meals and 108,500 food parcels for people in need.
The Young Surveyors’ AGM was held on Wednesday, 26th April in Merrion Square.
David Rowe of Finnegan Menton Property Consultants was elected chair of the Young Surveyors Committee, taking over from Zara Walsh, JLL for the 2017/ 2018 term.
The Annual Diploma Awards Ceremony took place last Friday, April 7 in the Pepper Cannister Church in Dublin.
2017 saw 116 candidates apply for Final Assessment, 98 candidates successfully completed the APC, and 75 candidates were present on the day to receive their diplomas.

The SCSI Property & Facility Manager’s Annual Lunch 2017 was held on Friday 10th March in The Westbury Hotel. This is the largest social event in the Property & Facility Manager’s social diary and remains ever popular with members with over 150 in attendance.

The Western Region Annual Dinner took place on Friday, 3rd March in The Ardilaun Hotel, Co. Galway. This black tie event was attended by over 150 members from counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
The Dublin Institute of Technology held its Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 25th February 2017 in St Patricks Cathedral Dublin. Amongst those receiving awards were graduates from the Society of Chartered Surveyors / Dublin Institute of Technology partnership programmes.
