SCSI South East Region Annual Black-tie dinner took place on Friday 10th November in Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny. Over 120 people attended and were welcomed to the event by Gillian Tyrrell chairperson of the South East Region.
16 teams composed of estate agents and others involved in the property profession took to the tennis court for the 28th annual Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland / The Irish Times Tennis Tournament.
Last Friday evening, the annual SCSI Young Surveyors 5-Aside Soccer Tournament took place at Pembroke Wanderer’s Hockey Club in Ballsbridge. A total of nineteen teams from across the property and construction sectors took park in the event.
The Members Summer Networking Social took place last Thursday, 20th July, at the Society HQ in 38 Merrion Square. Over 70 members turned up for the event. The BBQ was accompanied by beer and wine which was served to members on the evening.

Research from the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) shows Ireland is facing a serious and sustained shortage of chartered surveyors. As the economy continues to improve and the construction and property industry picks up pace, it’s a shortage that will see surveyors in increasing demand.

This years Property and Facility Management Conference had a record breaking 180 attendees at the sell-out event at Croke Park last Tuesday, 30th of May.

The Society is delighted to note that the event is more popular than ever with an increase on last years attendance with over 140 delegates present on the day.
